The Right To Choose
Pro-Choice/Pro-Life is really the same thing.
I am in whole hearted agreement that women have “The Right to Choose”. The fundamental question is: At what point the choice has been made? Whenever you ask the fundamental question, you start to get all these anecdotal and irrational comments about “evil men”, “date rape”, “incest”, “abuse”, “mis-carriage”, “care” etc. While these may be important topics, screaming about them does not answer the fundamental question. Regardless of how a woman may have gotten pregnant, or the circumstances that led up to it at some point that little parasite growing in her body should be defined as a human being with rights and privileges protected by our Constitution. What I want to hear is a clear point in time and rationale for that time. Until our communites can get a range of ideas on this and come to a consensus the incessant screaming and whining about tangential topics does not help.
The my body argument flatly does not work for me. Once you agree we have an actual human being then it isn't just “Your Body” involved any more, you made a contract to try to bring forth another human being into this twisted little world. Let's start justifying when that is, and set reasonable laws that keep people from behaving irrationally once the choice has been made. Not everyone will agree wholeheartedly with the decision that is made, but we must find some median point we can all live with and turn down the vitriol and lack of rationality that topic seems to bring out at the edges of the argument.
WSJ on Secrets

“Secret U.S. Files Siezed in Trump Search”
“FBI recovered 11 sets of classified documents that could show violations”
Is this for real? How could Mssrs Alex Leary, Aruna Viswanatha, and Sadie Gurman possibly know whether or not the FBI recovered a “Skilcraft property of the US Government” ink pen, much less a “Secret U.S. File”? Well now that you have convicted him maybe you can just throw him in jail. He's obviously going to sell secrets to Russia and China right? I don't care what political affiliation you have but unless you are an idiot you cannot possibly believe that any former president would want to, much less even be able to take anything of grave consequence from the White House.
The abject ludicrousness of this whole 3rd world invasion by armed FBI agents on a former Presidents house is beyond the pale. I probably would not have voted for Trump in a primary prior to these latest assaults on him, but apparently the current government apparatus has a (now justifiable mee thinks) fear that the top layers of many of these bureau's is going to get stripped bare if he gets in office. At this point I will likely vote for him so I can watch. Anyone who would allow something like this to go forward should be stripped of their jobs, and not ever see another penny of a government paychek.
The biggest problem with this whole mess is now we have created a precedent that says it's OK to do this nonsense if we don't like you. When the nonsense is not working in your favor my friends this means the powers that be will use it against you!
Don't be afraid of Covid, be afraid of the government. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.
